Positions Available

Account Manager for Advertising Sales within our filmed and entertainment divisions.

You will be responsible for bringing in new business as well as maintain, and up sell existing accounts in various verticals. Publishers, direct marketers, brokers, advertising agencies and online businesses will be able to leverage an assortment of TV and web solutions. Your client will be able to increase their reach and optimize their campaign by leveraging advanced technology solutions. This position offers generous commission structures and lots of opportunity. Responsibilities:

 

  • Prospect, pursue and close strategic publisher and advertiser opportunities

  • Persuasively articulate offerings, competitive advantages, resources and processes to clients and prospects through email, over the phone and via face to face meetings

  • Maintain effective, revenue-generating relationships with clients

  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned accounts’ business needs and revenue potential via a consultative sales approach

  • Maintain your knowledge of industry trends is key

  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan

  • Identify and understand prospects’ critical business needs and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and monetization expectations

  • Participation in industry events to build industry knowledge and sales pipeline


Qualifications:

  • 2 + years online media sales

  • Laptop computer

  • Demonstrated ability to build sales messages, and generate and close sales

  • Understand publishers / web sites monetization strategies and how advertising contributes to building the business

  • Knowledge of video production (script development)

  • Strong time management and personal organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills – telephone, written, and person to person relationship building skills are a must

Interactive Designer/ Flash Developer

If you are smart, interested in all aspects of product development (visual and interaction design, technical, business), and enjoy working in small, multi-disciplinary, collaborative teams, this is the opportunity for you. NCWELCOME Media Solutions Group is building out an end-to-end platform solution that will fundamentally change the entertainment experience for NC consumers. We are building an ecosystem where media-content owners are better able to interact with their audiences and the audience members are able to interact with one another.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Ensuring that our products are ridiculously easy to use
- Leading user-centered, interactive design and testing processes
- Actively participating in brainstorming with the product and engineering team

REQUIREMENTS

- 2-5+ years of design experience
- Passion for design and users
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to incorporate business and technical requirements as design parameters
- Experience building both consumer internet and enterprise software applications
- Experience taking a project from concept to completion
- Strong data visualization skills
- Interest in the power and potential of social networks
- You are generally pretty chill
- Ability to present to customers

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- BS, MS in HCI, Industrial Design, or related fields.
- User Experience
- Familiarity with Windows and Macintosh Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with any of the following: visual design, web service API's, internet monetization models, building highly scalable web applications, pushing the limits of existing web technologies, .mobi, social media.
