Connect to your community. Be a HERO for the Pitt County American Red Cross! What is a HERO? A hero is any person or group in the community who wants to make a difference and commit to collecting $1,000 for the Pitt County American Red Cross. This approach is the most basic, the most grassroots-oriented way the Red Cross has found to leverage its community network to raise funds to support the unique humanitarian programs and services needed year-in, year-out by the citizens of Pitt County.
